The Forum explains itself, and skips the only question that matters

The Forum's own explainer asks 'What is the World Economic Forum?' and answers in the vocabulary of a neutral convener: partners, stakeholders, cooperation, dialogue. Every word is chosen to make a private institution sound like a public utility.

The question the video never touches is who elected it. The Forum gathers the people who already run the largest companies and the most powerful governments, hands them an agenda it wrote, and calls the result a global conversation. A conversation among the powerful about everyone else does not become representation because the brochure repeats the word 'stakeholder' often enough.

You do not need a conspiracy to find this worth watching. An unelected body with genuine influence over policy, working this hard to be described in the gentlest possible terms, is interesting on its own. Watch the video and count how often it tells you what the Forum values. Then notice that it never says who gave it the standing to decide anything on your behalf.

Argue with the agenda on its merits. Just do not accept the framing for free.
