AltWoke publishes rigorous, evidence-based criticism. Every essay is edited, fact-checked, and held to a high standard: clear arguments, honest sourcing, and citations that hold up. Approved writers publish through editorial review, not instantly, and are expected to engage seriously with challenges and corrections.

• • A statement of what you argue and the standards you hold.
• • Two to three writing samples: links to published work or pasted text.
• • We review each application by hand; decisions come by email.
